WBENC is the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the U.S. and the leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations.

Wolper previously earned WBE certification from the Pennsylvania Department of General Services.

WOLPERweb® Version 2.1 Rolls Out

SCHREIBER AT OPERATIONS HELM FOR WOLPER SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

Easton, PA — December 2006 — Wolper Subscription Services has promoted Yvette Schreiber to Operations Manager. Schreiber has been with the company since 1995. She's a former manager of the Data Services department and was most recently a member of the IT team. During her tenure at Wolper, the company has grown significantly, in terms of employee base, sales volume and technology.

Harrisburg, PA — June 2006 — The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Minority and Women Business Opportunities granted recertification to Wolper Subscription Services as an official woman-owned small business.

Certification is a comprehensive process that assures only qualified companies are approved. In addition to owning at least 51% of their companies, “Woman Business Enterprise” owners must be U.S. citizens, must have training or experience in their business fields, and must have management and operational control of their companies. Unlike many certified woman-owned businesses, Wolper is and always has been 100% woman-owned and -operated.

Wolper originally earned certification from the state in 2004.

A WBE certification is desired by many corporate and federal customers who are required to meet supplier diversity standards.

JOANNE KELLEY PROMOTED TO VP SALES

Roslindale, MA — June 2006 — After two straight years of record sales growth that includes expansion into new markets, Wolper Subscription Services has promoted JoAnne Kelley from National Sales Manager to Vice President of Sales.

JoAnne's leadership has been instrumental in driving our recent growth," says Wolper President and CEO, Susan Wolper. "Her extensive experience, communication expertise, and devotion to her customers has proven to be a real winning formula. She's also a key member of our management team, helping me to set the direction for the company overall."

Kelley joined the company in March 2003 with 20+ years experience in various sales and marketing positions. Prior to joining Wolper, she was National Sales Manager, working mostly within the corporate sector, at The Faxon Company, a family-owned serials subscription agency based in Massachusetts.

WOLPER APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT

Easton, PA — April 2006 — Wolper Subscription Services, Inc. announced the appointment of Didi Yunginger as Director of Operations and Strategic Development.

Didi joined Wolper last spring from Rodale, Inc., where she held various managerial, marketing and business development positions over a twenty-year span. She also has an MBA degree from DeSales University. Her knowledge and experience in project management, staff development, and generally in the publishing industry will be an invaluable asset for Wolper.
